Geography 112: Maps and GIS

The purpose of this map is to educate young students about population changes in Washington between 1900 and 2020. Additionally, this map will be a resource to students, and allow them to understand how to read and use a population map. Finally, this map can be used to demonstrate and expore further into why people live the places that they do.

Examine what areas of the state have high and low populations

Compare data from diffrent decades to see overall population changes within the state

Interpret mirgation patterns within the state
